Scotti Knights Motorcycle Clothing and Accessories

Founded in 2005, Scotti Knights was first opened as a motorcycle clothing and accessories shop in Sale, Greater Manchester. Run by biking enthusiast and qualified CBT and DAS motorcycle trainer Martin Flynn, the shops mission was provide quality motorcycle clothing to bikers in the South Manchester Area.

Initially a contract was agreed with suppliers Frank Thomas to stock a range of Frank Thomas, Lewis, Forma and Dynamic products along with Suomy and Caberg Helmets.

The shop also doubled as an education centre for the training school and a classroom environment was created in the rear of the building and the storage for the training bikes housed behind.

The web site 'www.scottiknights.co.uk' was initially constructed by Martins brother John an IT specialist for the 2006 biking season and supplied all of the stock sold by the shop. At the time it was the largest on line repository of Frank Thomas stock and had over 300 pages of products and information. Whilst the main lines of Frank Thomas were unable to be discounted, there were certain offers that were in demand. One particular Lewis jacket and trousers offer was extremely popular and over 40 sets were sold in the summer of 2007.

In 2009 it was decided that due to the overheads of running the shop and the inflexibility in some of the pricing offers, the clothing line would be sold online only and the training centre moved to new premises nearer to the actual training circuit.
In keeping with the objectives of providing quality clothing at good value prices, a research exercise was conducted into various manufacturers with the objective of commissioning Scotti Knights own branded merchandise which could be offered at prices competitive with the brands on the high street.

The motorcyle clothing operation now obtains quality imported merchandise, which is manufactured at the same factories and to the same standards as many of the leading brands. This colthing is available only online, so without the overheads of a retail outlet bikers in the UK, and now the EU, can benefit from cost savings on a range of quality motorcycle clothing and accessories.
